Yes. Every production stage takes place in our family atelier in Saluzzo, Piedmont, using Italian materials. Each item carries forward the practical knowledge our family has developed since 1978.

A full-length umbrella offers a more traditional silhouette and gives greater prominence to the handle and canopy. A folding umbrella is easier to carry and store throughout the day. Exact dimensions, opening mechanisms and product details are listed on each product page.

Yes. Every ilMarchesato umbrella, walking stics and shoehorn can be personalized, with the technique depending on its construction and materials. Initials can be embroidered into the fabric and/or engraved.

We make every effort to represent colors and details accurately. Natural materials, including wooden handles, may show slight variations in color, grain and pattern. Hand-finished details may also vary subtly, making every piece individual.

After use, leave the umbrella fully open until it is completely dry, away from direct heat. Never close or store it while wet, and avoid forcing the opening mechanism. Any additional care instructions relating to specific fabrics or decorative finishes can be found on the product page.
