CUSTOM AND IMPORT TAXES:
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.
For orders shipped outside the European Union, local customs authorities may occasionally request additional information or documentation in order to clear the goods for delivery. These requests do not occur with every shipment and are generally rare, depending on the regulations of the destination country.
Please note that any such requirements are imposed by the customs agency of the recipient’s country—not by us or the shipping carrier, who simply acts as an intermediary. When requested, the documentation is usually simple—for example, a local tax ID number or a brief form—and we are always available to assist and guide you through the process, should it arise.
However, if the necessary documents are not provided, or if import duties and taxes are not paid by the recipient, the parcel cannot be released by customs. After a certain period of time, the shipment may be returned to Italy. In such cases, all associated costs—including the original shipment, return shipping, customs storage fees, and re-importation charges—will be deducted from any applicable refund. These costs may vary depending on the value and volume of the shipment.
We strongly encourage all international customers to promptly check any messages from the courier or their local customs office to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
